Yes, on the 29th, Caleb turned two!! I think he actually started the two's about 2 months ago. And, most people don't believe us that he is only two. Yes, if you look at height charts, he should be about 7 foot at his tallest!!! I have warned Mike that he needs to be earning COL pay in Caleb's high school years!!!
It is so hard to have a birthday party 4 days after Christmas. My brother's is on the 28th. Now I know how my parents always felt trying to separate the two days. It is not fun!!! We made a special family trip to Chuck E Cheese. The kids had a blast!! We went early enough that there wasn't very many people. As the people began coming, we left. Perfect timing!! After Caleb's nap, we had the neighbors over for an inpromptu birthday party. Cake!!! He liked singing the birthday song to himself! We still hear it occasionally. He also liked the cake. He was the only one left at the table during seconds!! If you didn't know, Caleb is into balls. He can identify what sport his dad is watching. It is a lot of fun to watch him kick a soccer ball, through any ball and shoot the basketball. So, he got a basketball hoop, as he says!! That and the trike from Drew are the biggest hits.
