Hmmmmm......

Do you think it is time I post again? I mean, it has been a LONG time!! At first I blamed it on moving. We have been here 2 months now. What is my excuse? I haven't wanted to!! OK, that is not exactly true! I have just not done it. So, know I will try to do better.

So far, we have enjoyed living here. We LOVE being near family. The kids love playing with their cousins, I love hanging with Robin whenever I can, and the dads love doing football during the week. Family dinners are a blast!!! What a truly amazing blessing to have this year!! Maybe we can be stationed together again.

Since living here, we have had a lot of fun family time. There are a couple of lakes on post and the kids love to go fishing. Actually, Mike and I love it just as much. The fish love us and our hotdogs!! The very first time we went we probably pulled out 25 fish! There are ducks and geese at the lake we like to feed to. However, we went to feed the ducks the other evening and there are signs up that say "Please don't feed the birds or wildlife". My response was "Do they want us to quit fishing, too? Because we just feed the fish and throw them back or they steal our food." Who knows?! It was pretty disappointing to my kids.

The kids' school is going great! Drew and Grace are doing wonderful! Caleb start preschool this year. The first day, he cried when I left. The second day, he took George (curious George) with him. The third day, he looked up at me and said I don't need George, I am not going to cry!! I think he loves it! The teacher says he is a huge helper. Sarah and I start a music class this week while Caleb is in school. She misses Caleb, but I think she is adjusting to being with me!

Mike is going to school. So far, it isn't too bad. Most days he is home by 4. Some days, he shows up at 12:30 and I have no idea what to do. I am going to PWOC here. We have also found an amazing church! I never thought I would find a church like New Life in Colorado Springs. This isn't it, but it is perfect for us!! The kids love to go and have even asked to go during the week! I am doing a Bible study there too!

I will try harder to post more. I will go through our pictures from the last two months. We have celebrated 3 birthdays since we moved. So, there are pictures. Also, Drew is playing flag football which there will be pictures. Thanks for hanging with me through the drought!!
