The orders

Well, it has finally become a reality. Mike received his orders yesterday. So, officially we will move to Ft. Leavenworth this summer. Now, the work begins. I have a realtor coming by in the morning to see what we can sell the house for. If it isn't what I believe this house is worth, we will rent it. It will be a very interesting time. I mean, how in the world do you show a house with 4 kids ages 7,5,3 and 1. I don't get it!! I guess I will figure it out. I have found a couple of websites that may be of help.

We are excited to move to Leavenworth. We have other friends moving there, too. But, most importantly, we get to be near family!! Mike's older brother, JR, and his family are stationed there. Robin, my sister-in-law, has been a huge help in all of this!! I am so grateful for her advice, going into her friends' homes, asking a construction worker to check out the new housing, what preschools are in the area, and on and on. I am so grateful!! I owe her a Starbucks or three when we finally get there. Is there one close?! I am so spoiled to my drive thru up the road!!

So, I will keep you posted on the moving on-goings. Pray that the right family will come into our home and want to live here. There are many memories that have been made here in the past 7 years!! We want some other family to be as blessed as we have been!!
