On Fridays I go into the school and volunteer in the kids classes. So, with Mike in OK this week, we took Caleb and Sarah to hourly early. We had some time so we went to Starbucks. The drive-up line was really long so we decided to go in. Drew and Grace got kids hot chocolate. I had my normal, stirred (or upside down, which was it) carmel macchiato!!! My favorite!!! We were going back to the car and Drew was taking forever. I looked back and he was walking and going in circles. And here is what was said.......
Drew: "Mom, Mom"
Me: "Yes, Drew, hurry up and get in."
Drew: "Mom, did you see what I was doing?"
Me: "Yes, now get in the car before you have to walk to school."
Drew: "Do you know what I was doing?"
Me: "What were you doing?"
(Remember, he was walking and turning....)
Drew: "Mom, I was stirring my hot chocolate!!"
Only a child enjoys life and simple pleasures!!!!!!!
