OK, so it technically is day 5, but I am just now getting to four. It was a tiring day yesterday and we had to get up early today, which will be in tomorrow's edition!! Yesterday's plans got changed, so we had a family olympics. It was really fun. We had to wear a team "uniform". Well, after going through everyone's clothes, we had nothing the same. So, we supported the gift shop and all got red t-shirts!! At least we have something from the trip!!!
They were aiming at a target and it wasn't me!!
Did anyone know that Mike could be so limber? Not, me!!
After the olympics, the big three kids and Mike went swimming. Then, lunch where Grace ate 1/2 her body weight in roast beef. Then the long awaited for event (for Drew), the ropes course!! It was great!! We get over there and get harnassed up. I go first so I can take pictures of Drew doing it. Knowing that my reactions would be the make or break for Drew, I just trugded along. It was never racking, especially scooting off the tower on the zip line. But, I did it. Mike and Drew went together. They flew across the ropes part, making me look slow. Then, came the zip line. Drew was all ready, physically, to go. Sat down on the edge, and was not having any part of it. For many minutes, I would say 20 plus, everyone there encouraged him. He wanted nothing to do with it. He was set to walk all the way back across the ropes. Eventually another group came up to the tower with the zip line. It was a dad and son team. This was the boy's second try at the zip line. He had backed out the first time. So, they had to go before Drew could go back. They went. And, so I bribbed Drew. $10 if he would go. That did it. He wanted that money. So, he went!! As he was still swinging I hear him say, "Mom, I want to go again." The first step is always the hardest. It was so good, we signed up to do it again!!
Drew's video of him on the zip line. Don't complain at the photography, I was so glad he did it I wasn't paying too much attention!!
OK, so the video will come when we get home. I can't get it to process!!

After that was dinner. They did a great BBQ, with ribs and chicken, corn on the cob, potato salad, cobbler, beans and I can't remember. Along with dancing and square dancing. The kids had a blast!! This is Drew and Emily. They knew each other from before. But, they have become buddies this week. Her mom thinks she has a crush on Drew!!
The square dance!!
This is Caleb's buddy, Bryce. Cool part is, they live right across from Drew's school and he is a 4th grader!!
That is day 4 in a nutshell. Day 5 to come........................
