So, we headed "down" the mountain from the Lake Tahoe area. You couldn't see a thing. It is so smokey everywhere out there. I think we saw Lake Tahoe one time the entire time we were up there. The valley where Mom and Dad live fills up with the smoke too. Visibility at times was no more than a quarter of a mile. Anyways, we drove to their house. We let the kids get the initial excitement out then headed to the train musuem in Old Sacramento. It was a lot of fun!!! Again, it appeal the most to my train fanatic.
It was a great train museum!! There were real trains that you could actually get up on. Granted, with Caleb and Grace, you don't spend much time looking at anything. They would just take off running to the next train. I think Drew went back several times to see what he had missed.
The kids loved the model trains scenary. Drew asked when we are going to get his Polar Express train fixed so he can play with it!!
I just loved this picture of Isabella and Sarah. They were having their own conversation!!
This is in the foyer just before we left. This is after the glow in the dark putt-putt golf. This is also where we ran into my friend Carlene!!
