Learning to ride his bike

Drew has officially graduated from the training wheels. We haven't really pushed him to get rid of them. But, lately he has asked for Mike to work with him. So, Mike would take him to the park to practice. Our street is not flat!! The park sidewalk is flat!! Today was the first day that I have gone with them. (No one was still napping.) I was so excited to see him take off down the sidewalk riding. When we first got there, Drew would ride to the end of the sidewalk, got off, turn the bike around, get back on, and ride back. So, I started telling him to make a "BIG" turn into the grass. It took him a couple of times to understand that you keep peddling in the grass and fast. Once he got it, he got it. He rode home without the training wheels. I think we have graduated to the big boys now. It was so much fun to watch him learn something!!

The others loved the park. Sarah just watched everyone. It was cool so she stayed bundled up. But, as you see, she loved it!!!
