So, Drew had Monday off from school. We decided to go to the zoo. It was very windy (surprise, surprise wind in Colorado). In the sun, it wasn't too bad. We had a good time. Drew and Caleb went together everywhere. (Oh, Grace wasn't with us, she had school.)
Caleb being the big boy walked the entire thing. If you could imagine, there is nothing but hills all over the zoo. I believe it is the highest zoo in America. Don't quote me though. Anyways, his not so little two year old legs took him through the whole thing. I don't think we missed anything. He is so in the "Watch me" stage. Everything he does he wants you to watch to include going down the slide every time.
They had fun feeding the giraffes. We got there as they were letting them out of the house into the yard. They couldn't wait to get crackers to feed them. I was surprised that Caleb had no fear of those sticky, slimy purple tongues. But, he didn't.
They had fun at the park there, too. Even Sarah was enjoying our time outside. I don't think I am the only one with spring fever in this house!!!!
