Our next door neighbor, COL Mary Miller(!!), just got home yesterday for R&R. She has been gone since Sarah was born, literally. Mary was there when Sarah was born. We hadn't seen her since that night until yesterday. The kids are ecstatic that she is here. As you see, Grace is always in her lap. Drew wanted to be bashful, but couldn't stop looking at her. Caleb was a little awe struck. It has been a long time in his little life since he saw her. Sarah didn't know the difference. Mike and I are so glad to see her. I didn't realize how much I miss her mentorship/friendship until I saw her. Now, I have to wait 5 more months to have her home permanently. We can hardly wait. I am sure we will see her several times before she goes back. We are so proud of her and what she is doing for all of us!! God bless her and her families sacrifice!!
Sarah does love John, AKA Meany!!! John and Grace are two peas in a pod and pick on each other constantly. Sarah just loves him and will leave anyone else for him. He just squeezes her and she loves it!!
