Happy St. Patrick's Day

Did a leprachan come to your house? Well, here in Colorado, we made a trap to catch him if he did. Unfortunately, we didn't catch him. We tried to fool him with fool's gold. He figured it out.

Drew's kindergarten class was assigned a project of building a leprachaun trap. Well, the two West Pointers in the house haven't exercised that part of their brain. Drew came up with the idea of catching him in the cup by having it fall on him. It just took Mike and I a little while to make it work. Drew has a ton of rocks that he has gotten from places. He actually had fool's gold!! So, it holds the yarn. When the leprachaun picks up the fool's gold the cup falls. Drew did most of it. All the painting and glittering was Drew. He made the cup look like a cloud.
Drew asked Ms. Mary and Scott to come over and check out the trap. Mary and Scott pretended to be a leprachaun. Drew thought it was so funny that they got trapped. Apparently there was leprachaun that did visit Drew's classroom. He set off all of the traps, threw the chairs around, and left green foot prints. He was so excited!! He whispered to us that he thought it was the principal!!! Anyways, hope you had a Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
