Drew at the Children's Museum

Drew had Friday off from school. So, we went with Hannah and JB (from across the street) to Denver to the Children's Museum. Grace actually went to school. She got to stay all afternoon which is excitement for her. And, a break for me with only three.

Drew had a blast. He wants to be a firefighter when he grows up. So, he loved the firetruck. Yes, the first coat he put on was a little small for him. I had a hard time getting him off of the truck. But, with the excitement of what else there was, he was ready to go on.

I truly believe Drew will be an engineer of some sort. He had a blast in the workshop area. He built a train engine out of recycled items (toilet paper rolls, a kleenex box and an concentrated frozen orange juice can). It turned out nice. Ms. Liz helped him.
And, we ended the time at the art station. He made a beautiful picture of a flower. We left it there. It was dripping wet and we were ready for lunch. As you can tell, we had a blast!!
