Father Daughter Dance

Last night was the Military Father/Daughter Dance. Since Mike took Grace last year, that is all she has talked about. Fortunately he was able to get home from Atlanta in time to take her this year. We only had about 2 weeks to get a dress and prepare. Since Monday, Grace has talked about it!! Mike's parents are here. When Dar went to pick her up from school yesterday the teachers wished us luck on getting her to rest. We did, but don't ask how!!!

Hannah (from across the street) and her dad went too. We went and took pictures with them before hand. The all looked beautiful!!

They ate food, meatballs Grace said. And, danced until wee hours (OK, wee hours for Grace. It was only 10). She came home very fired up and excited. She still even looked great!!! Mike looked a little worn out!! They had a blast!!

Funny part of taking pictures before, Caleb wanted to be with his daddy. The daddy's boy hadn't seen him all week and had missed him. So, I tried to get him out of the pictures. I sent him on a mission, go find spiderman and I will take you picture with him. Well, it only worked for about 10 seconds. He found the toy and was back in no time. So to be true to him, here is picture of Caleb with his spiderman!!!
